while i was waiting at Table 3 at

THE NINES fund raiser in August,

i sketched a bit...

our Art Museum visit last Sunday...

...PLUS....last Sunday afternoon we (w/ b & i) went

to the Jordan Schnitzer Museum of Art for FREE!

I enjoyed Joe Sacco's Safe Around Gorazde graphic,

historical novel ink panels;

Xiaoze Xie's Amplified Moments paintings,

and all the newly added Japanese Ink & Brush

art (especially the Chutes and Ladders [ E-sugoroku ] games

and ink drawings!

during the rehearsal of the Eugene Symphony's

'A Lincoln Portrait' - i sketched this...

(harps are hard to sketch, while

people are filing in...!...)

I am in no way ridiculing the reposed.

I am artistically inspired by their lives and accomplishments,

so i wanted to illustrate them.

Nothing macabre, no nefarious reason, i'm

drawn to people who have had noted presence in life.
