Wanda C. illustration

obituaries illustration was drawn of
Wanda Clark. Her thumbnail photo, her bio,
her husband, nieces and nephews (no kids!).
(She was born Sept. 16 like Mikaela Jaquette!).

PLEASE know that these are drawn with the intent
to honor the reposed and their full lives.
Please forgive me if it offends anyone,
I am in no way ridiculing the reposed.
I am truly inspired by their lives and accomplishments,
so i wanted to illustrate them.
Nothing macabre, no nefarious reason, i'm
drawn to people who have had noted presence in life.

Francisco C. Illustration

Last week, i was looking in The Register Guard
obituaries and was 'drawn' to Francisco Chavez,
his thumbnail photo, his bio, his wife and
kids AND decided to draw him.
(click on the pic to view it BIGGER)
PLEASE know that these are drawn with the intent
to honor the reposed and their full lives.
Please forgive me if it offends anyone,
I am in no way ridiculing the reposed.

Megillat Esther

I'm also reading/viewing another wonderful
graphic novel called MEGILLAT ESTHER.
Translated, drawn and calligraphy by J.T. Waldman.
A great version of the only book in the Bible
that doesn't mention God, or was that The Book of Ruth?
I really am captivated by the great pen & ink
work; each page is busy with details!

Red - A Haida Manga

I'm reading/viewing a wonderful NW Haida Narrative,
in graphic novel form, called RED - A HAIDA MANGA.
Written and drawn by Michael Nicoll Yahgulanaas.
Beautiful, colorful images and style, and a nice change in
layout and design than most graphic novels.

Live Long and Vote

A doodle i drew ('cock-a-doodle-doo!') after
i voted here in Eugene, Oregon!
